“Top of the mornin’ to you all” on this fabulous St Patrick’s Day.
I’ve snuck downstairs early to write this quick post before our hectic day starts. We are interviewing house and pet sitters today. Not the way I’d planned to spend my St Patrick’s Day, but I’m sure if Steve has his way we might be able to find Guinness Pie and indulge in a pint of Guinness, Kilkenny or Newcastle Brown Ale (Steve will be drinking not me…yuck).
I want to share with you the St Patrick’s Day projects that I made for last week’s Historic Ormiston House Craft Expo. These fun cards were a hit!

I’m just loving that different card fold – so simple yet very effective! The basic template is half a sheet of A4 paper scored at 10.5cm (approximately 4″) then the first panel is cut in half with the offcut being used as the tab.
Who would have thought that the Best Bunny Stamp Set could be used for St Patrick’s Day? It was so much fun getting out the circle punches to make a little “punch art” gold coins and the cauldron. It’s been ages since I’ve used punches in this was and I forgot how much fun it is to do.
Let’s take another look at the cards
They all use the same Designer Series Paper Collection, the same card fold and the Tophat yet they all look completely different. Imagine the possibilities! That hat would be great teamed up with a cheshire cat made with the Fox Builder Punch for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Or even use it on wedding or formal card.
