On Thursday, I shared with you the second card that I ever made using the Lovely As A Tree stamp set (Click here if you missed it). Today, I’m sharing with you a quick and easy variation of that card, using the gorgeous silver foil-edged note cards.
I will also share how to use this basic layout and the masking technique using two tree themed stamp sets that will be in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue that starts on 4 June 2019. Plus I’ll give you an easy way to fix stamping mistakes on notecards and show you how to step it up!
Wow! That sounds like a lot to get through. Trust me when you see how easy this is, you will want to make a whole heap.
Let’s not delay any further and watch the video:
How simple was that?
Pretty easy wasn’t it? Just one note card, a stamp set, ink, something to sponge with, and a home-made mask and Voila! You’re away! Those silver edge note cards are so elegant too. Did I mention that the foil-edged note cards come in gold foil edging too? Stunning!
Here are the cards again…
If you don’t have a Big Shot/die-cutting machine or window sheets to make your mask, you can easily cut a mask from plain copy paper with your scissors. You can even print an oval from your computer to get the right shape. Of course, you can change the shape of the sponged area to any shape you like. Let your imagination run riot! As you can see from the video, if you make a mistake, it’s easy enough to fix.
Hope you liked this video. Be sure to comment below what you think!
Until next time… happy creating!
