You’ve heard the song that goes “How suite it is…” Or was that suppose to be “sweet”. Well, no matter how the song goes, you’ll just love the sweet new Stampin’ Up! Suites!

Last week in my Bundle It Up! blog post,  I gushed over the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Bundles, so this week it’s only fitting to talk about the products that coordinate with those bundles – the product suites.

What are Stampin’ Up! product suites?

Suites are an awesome Stampin’ Up! initiative coordinating related products, allowing you to easily bring together coordinating items with being restricted by a kit.  This allows  so much scope  to be creative and almost limitless possibilities.

Each of the 15 suites in the 2017-2017 Annual Catalogue contain coordinating designer series paper, and a matching stamp set.  To complement these items there is either a punch, textured embossing folder, ribbon, a set of dies or a or some embellishments… Just pick what YOU want to use!

As I mentioned earlier some of the product Suites even incorporate a bundle.  Those suites are:

  • Eastern Palace  (pages 18-19) –  Middle Eastern inspired geometric patterns combined with the richness of gold, luxurious tassles and strong bold hues of Fresh Fig, Dapper Denim and Tranquil Tide.
  • Coffee Break  (pages 30-31) –Every coffee lover NEEDS this suite!
  • Birthday Memories (pages 68-69) – A fun colourful nostalgic throwback to yesteryear!
  • Foil Frenzy (pages 76-77) – a fresh new birthday set with trendy color foil accents
  • Delightful Daisy (pages 126-127) – This suite was so popular that the punches sold out in the first two weeks and we had to wait for a new batch of punches!
  • Naturally Eclectic (pages 132-133) – A eclectic combination of water colour images and a geometric die. Free your inner artist!
  • Color Theory (pages 146-147) – A cool twist on the popular ombre, distressed and marble trends. Love those “paint samples”!
  • Wood Textures (pages 158-159) – Stampin’ Up! have brilliantly transitioned the natural wood home decorating trend onto paper.
If those suites don’t take your fancy – what about these?
  • Pick a Pattern (pages 40-41)  This suite has a little of everything.  If you aren’t into dinosaurs and bears, put your hand over those images and look at the rest.  Look at the stunning patterns in the paper – and don’t even get me started on that versatile washi tape!
  • Petal Garden (pages 56-57) – If you love flowers this one is for you!  Imagine the cards you can make with this suite!  From Mother’s day to birthdays, sympathy to love, there are about a bazillion ideas tucked in this bundle.
  • Whole Lot of Lovely (pages 86-87) – This is a great combination of the brights and black and white!  The black in the patterned paper helps the other colors really pop.  This is another bundle that really needs to be seen in person to really get just how beautiful it is.  While you are looking at, pay close attention to the shimmer ribbon and sequins.
  • Fresh Florals (pages 94-95) – Stampin’ Up! has given one of last catalogue’s favourites a new lease on life with some beautiful in colours.  If you have ever wanted to make sets of cards to give as gifts, THIS is the suite for you!  It will be your best patterned paper for mass producing.
  • Bundle of Love (pages 102-103) – Metalics are so stylish and on trend.  Use these for loads of different occasions!  This should have been called Bundle of LOVE-ly… right? From wedding ideas and birthday, and also baby boy and girl cards, if making celebratory cards is your thing, then this is your bundle.
  • Be Merry (pages 112-113) – If you are planning to start your Christmas cards in July this suite is perfect for you!  Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green are such a classic combo for the holiday season, and this paper won’t disappoint.  Remember to keep your pattern paper scraps from your card making for making tags!
  • Just Add Color (pages 166-167) – Swap your colouring books for this fun designer series paper and funky stamps!  For some people colouring elicits a relaxing mindset, similar to meditation. Like mediation, colouring allows us to switch off our brains from other thoughts and focus on the moment.  It is said that concentrating on colouring in may allow us to replace negative thoughts and images with pleasant ones. If you want to get your art therapy or mindfulness fix, this suite is your must have!
