Are you ready for Halloween?

There’s only seven weeks to go to Halloween. Although it’s not a huge celebration here in Australia, Halloween is gaining in popularity. Each year more and more trick or treaters come to our door.

I love to have a cute treats to give the little ones who have put a lot of time and effort into getting ready. It’s great to have something for their parents who trudge along behind making sure their children are safe too. Since these children have put time and effort into sorting out their costume, I feel I should do something more than just grab a chocolate bar out of the packet.

Enter the Toil & Trouble Suite.

This suite is the perfect way to bewitch those little monsters, witches and ghosts!  First up, let’s look at the Cauldron Bubble Bundle.  This cute Stamp Set and matching framelits dies has ghosts, witches and brooms, hats and cats, cauldrons and toads.  All perfect ingredients for a witches brew.  The framelits dies also coordinate perfectly with the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper.
If that’s not enough, there’s a matching cardstock pack, stunning black foil sheets, adorable bakers boxes, black glittered organza ribbon and spooky spider trinkets.

Do you prefer bats to witches?

Let’s face it Halloween wouldn’t be complete without bats. Well Stampin’ Up! has got that covered too! The Spooky Sweets stamp set and coordinating Spooky Bats Punch offers a quick and easy way to add batty elements to your projects.   Just look at these project ideas from Stampin’ Up!
I love the “smudge” stamp in this set – just imaging using it for clouds, dirt or even vintage grunge backgrounds.  Remember if you buy the stamp set and punch as a bundle you will save 10%. Spooky Sweets stamp set co-ordinates with the Twinkle Twinkle Builder punch too (See page 211 of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue).

Trick or Tweet

Another cute Halloween Offering this year is the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set.  This set contains the a cat, dog, bird and elephant all dressed in Halloween costumes!  I’m totally in love with the masked elephant with the bat wings.  He’s doing a great job of going incognito! I love the examples in the Holiday Catalogue. Isn’t that bird dressed as a ghost super cute?

But I want a stamp set that I can use all year, not just at Halloween.

Of course you want to get the most use out of your stamps and dies. That makes sense.   Takeout Treats and matching Takeout Thinlits is not only perfect for Halloween but Christmas, Valentines, Birthdays and just because.  In my humble opinion this bundle is the quiet achiever of this year’s holiday catalogue because it has stamps for all occasions. The takeaway box that you can create from the thinlits is not only perfect for trick or treat goodies at Halloween but it’s the perfect size for a Christmas Ornament or sweets or even a ring box on Valentines Day (Just sayin’).  You could even load it up with popcorn or chips (crisps) for your movie night or New Years Eve party.  Or pack it with some treats such as bath bombs for a house warming gift or a girls day. So many possibilities.

The Making Everyday Bright stamp set also includes a spider web stamp that can be used for Halloween Too. Don’t forget to grab the coordinating Christmas Bulb Builder Punch too.

It’s only Seven Weeks till Halloween

I know I mentioned this before, so it’s seem like I’m harping on about it, BUT if you’re going to make Halloween treats this year you need to get organised NOW.   Why now? Let’s face it, if you put in an order today, your products will arrive next week. So that means there is only six weeks to go.Then, of course, you will need to schedule time to make your treats.  If you’re life is hectic like mine, you know that there are going to be lots of demands on your time between when your order arrives and Halloween and of course you also need to get started on your overseas Christmas Cards in October too.

So it really makes sense to create your Halloween projects early so you’re not rushing to finish your treats on Halloween as the ghosts and gobblins descend on your driveway.  Or worse still rummaging through the cupboards or fridge for treats because you weren’t organised.  Be warned! Trick or treaters don’t take too kindly to a wrapped can of John West Tuna that’s been in your cupboard since the early 90s as a trick because you have no treats! (Please don’t ask me how I know this.)

Here’s everything that you need to make your Halloween treats awesome.  Click the picture below to add it to your shopping cart.
