So excited that we are coming to the Historic Ormiston House’s 2019 Craft Expo next Sunday, 10th March. It’s going to be awesome!
The Venue
The venue is amazing! The “Father of the Australian Sugar Industry”, Capt. Louis Hope’s historic home is surrounded by 14 acres of equally historic grounds and gardens overlooking Moreton Bay. Built in the 1860, Ormiston House is one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in Queensland and is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. Here’s a quick glimpse of the house:
Even if you aren’t into markets, art shows or craft expos, it’s worth visiting for just the grounds and view alone. Once you’re there, I’m certain you’ll enjoy the expo too!
