It’s less than 4 weeks until Christmas!
Last year I started a tradition wirh the 12 weeks of Christmas Colour Challenge and I’m happy to announce it’s back!. 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas is designed to help you with your Christmas projects.
If you are anything like me those hundred of Christmas Projects pinned to your Pinterest Boards, can be overwhelming. So many good ideas so little time.
Start with colours…
When you know what colours you are going to use, creating Christmas Projecs gets much easier…
As you know there many awesome Stampin’ Up! colours. Sometimes, knowing which ones go together can be challenging.
Don’t despair! Help is at hand!
12 Christmas Colour Combinations
In remaining weeks leading up to Christmas, kick start your creating by using colours from one of my 12 Christmas Colour Combinations to make your Christmas project.
These combos feature only Stampin’ Up! colours (of course, you can use other brands in similar colours/shades). Some combinations will only have two or three colours, other combinations will have more. You can choose to use just one or two colours or all of them – It’s totally up to you!
You may wish to add other accent colours if you choose but make the suggested colours the “heroes” of your project!
Are you ready to get started?
Of course you are! But first…
The inspiration

My Creation
Today, I’m leading by example and sharing what I’ve made using this combination I put together this faux chalkboard card.
I love creating Faux Chalkboard backgrounds using the shimmer white embossing powder, Versamark and Heat Tool. An embossing buddy is essential for this technqiue (Trust me on this!)
Making “word” background using your Stamparatus or stamp positioning tool is super easy, looks effective and gives your stamp sets even more versatility! IItty Bitty Christmas is a perfect stamp set for this technique This set teams up with the Cup of Christmas Bundle – Loving those candy canes!!!! Silver metallic edged ribbon substitutes for silver foil.
This card is included in the 12 Projects of Christmas Tutorial Series waiting to be emailed out to my newsletter subscribers. If you’d like to recieve detailed written instructions this make sure you subscribe to my newsletter by using the form on the right of your screen.
