There is magic in every day!
It’s amazing how magical things there are if you look for it. Today, the sun is shining, birds are singing, the skies are blue, my hubby is working from home (Don’t think technology is co-operating with him…lots of swearing but maybe that’s just a normal workday?), my dog is at my feet, we don’t have to go to the supermarket or doctors and our dietician is going to skype us. So I’m appreciating the magic of the simple things.
Magical Mermaids
In February my friend, Vickie Kello joined me for a crafting day. I love these days, we each bring our products that we know the other person doesn’t own so we can both create with something new. There are lots of creating, laughs and sharing of ideas and we brainstorm business strategies. Stampin’ Up! brought Vickie into my life and I’m so grateful for that.
Vickie knew I didn’t have the Magical Mermaid cling stamp set so that was one of two sets she brought along for me to play with.
This very beautiful set is not my style at all. For me, coming up with ideas to showcase it was a challenge. Like you know from my YouTube Video earlier this week, I’m never one to back down from a challenge. (If you missed the video, you can watch it here.)
When I imagine mermaids, they have shimmery, glossy tails which mean there was no question about it, my mermaids would be heat embossed. The Clear Wink of Stella would definitely have to make an appearance too. After those decisions were made, everything started falling into place.
