Shark Week with a Twist Day 4

Today I’m taking a break from sharks to pay homage to another magnificent creature of the sea, the sea turtle – they are taking over. It’s a Turtle Takeover!

Turtle Takeover.

I’m loving this turtle print from The Whale of a Time Designer Series paper pack. It reminds me of the turtles in the Finding Nemo Movie!  You don’t need to add much to the DSP to create a fabulous card.

I’ve simply coloured the Whale Done stamp with the Just Jade and Misty Moonlight makers from the 2020–2022 In Color Stampin’ Write Marker Assortment, stamped on a piece of Whisper White then fussy-cut with my scissors and attached with dimensionals.

The sentiment is stamped on a die-cut basic white stitched rectangle in Just Jade ink and layered on a piece of Just Jade. The card base is Misty Moonlight. Perhaps I should have added some sequins from the Whale of a Time Suite Collection. In this case, I think “less is more”.
