About the Stamps
The Eden’s Garden Stamp Set contains “distinkive” images. This means that the stamp is designed to create different opacities (shades) in a single stamped image. Some people find these types of stamps a little tricky to use. When using these stamps, you’ll need to ensure your stamp set is not too “juicy” or “wet” – it is you won’t get the image you were expecting.
Here are five tips that might help you get an image that you like if your ink pad is “juicy”:
- Add ink to your stamp using a sponge dauber; or
- Blot the surface of your Classic ink pad with a paper towel before inking up your stamp; or
- Use an ink spot – don’t make the ink too juicy; or
- Colour the stamp with a Stampin’ Write marker; or
- Use your bone folder, palette tools or even a plastic spoon to gently move any excess ink to one end of your Classic ink pad and blot the excess ink off your ink pad with a paper towel.
