With all the excitement around the Stampin’ Up!™ 2022 July to December mini Catalogue and holiday creating, it’s easy to forget about Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalogue. This is a real shame as there are 186 pages of fabulous products, many of which you can use for your Halloween and Christmas Projects.
Today we’re talking Sweet Songbirds. This great little bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp set and a builder punch making it one of the lower-priced bundles in the catalogue. Don’t let the price fool you, it is so versatile.
Confession time
Punch bundles are my favourite type of bundle!
While I love the intricacies of dies and their coordinating stamps, some days lining up the dies with a stamp to get a perfectly aligned cut is a struggle. On other days, I just don’t want to use my die-cutting machine because my arms or hands aren’t working as they should. Other times, I need to cut something fast! Sometimes, I’m just lazy (Yes, I said it!) Punches are the perfect solution, they’re easy to line up and quick to use.
When I’m having a fibromyalgia flare, the pain and coordination impairment makes it tricky to line up dies, I can put my punch upside down on the table, slide my stamped image into place and press down. (Or I can get my husband to do it for me – he’s pretty good at using both punches and my die-cutting machine.)
While I love creating intricate projects that take many hours, I also love when I can create something fast that looks great. Punches enable me to do that!
That’s enough raving about punches, let’s get back to talking about Sweet Songbird (you’ll find it on page 31 of the 2022-2023 Annual catalogue.)
Sweet Songbirds Christmas Style
At our October Coffee Cake & Cards catch-up, we created a cute little Christmas Card using the Sweet Songbirds bundle and it was a hit! Let’s take a look at the card:
Even though Sweet Songbirds isn’t a Christmas Stamp, it certainly looks like it has the Christmas Spirit! All I had to do was stamp it in real red and team it with the right paper and a Christmas Sentiment. Here’s everything I used to create this cute card.

Halloween Sweet Songbird

So we’ve now covered Christmas and Halloween, we mustn’t forget that we can use the Sweet Songbirds bundle for everyday occasions too like welcoming a new baby or welcoming someone to your home, happy birthday, and so much more.

Too cute! I might need to CASE this card for the arrival of my new nephew in the coming weeks.
