The Venue
In 2024, Soiree by The Sea is being held at Caba Break, Cabarita Beach in Northern New South Wales. This beautiful boutique accomodation, located right in the heart of town, has all the creature comforts covered! Picture this: four luxurious flats with four spacious bedrooms each, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean to the east and glorious hinterland to the west. Prepare to be create in style!
Venture out the front door and voila! The ultimate combo of coffee and pampering awaits you on the right, while the sparkling beach and more food options beckon you across the street. But there’s more! Take a casual stroll to the left, and boom! You’ll stumble upon the grocery store and the yummiest foodie spots in town, plus a massage therapist to knead your worries away. What more could you ask for?

Ready to sailaway at our Soiree by the Sea? We’re happy to offer three convenient PayPay payment options for you to choose from:
- Option 1: Pledge $695 upfront and receive an early bird reward valued at $25,.
- Option 2: Pay $100 non-refundable deposit now and the remaining $595 before March 31, 2024.
- Option 3: Pay $100 non-refundable deposit now and three monthly payments of $198.34 before March 31, 2024.
Please ensure that all payments are made by March 31, 2024, so you can create with us all weekend!. A $100 non-refundable deposit is part of ALL bookings.

Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome! No matter if you’re new to the paper-crafting party, an ink-slinging veteran, a scrapbook sorcerer, a mixed media maven, or a Stampin’ Up! superstar, there’s a spot with your name on it at the Soiree!
We’ve got people flying in from all over the country, and some expressions of interest from overseas crafters.
Can I find my own accomodation and just pay a retreat fee?
Wish we could shout a big “YES!” but, “NO”, we’re only offering the all-inclusive resort package this time. We want to keep things intimate and affordable, so we snagged exclusive use of the building and Pandamus Room. Let’s face it, if you book elsewhere, you’ll miss out on all the little extra touches that make this retreat extra special!
Enjoying an Adventure with Friends or Flying Solo?
Whether you’re enjoying a getaway with your friends or going solo, we’ve got you covered. If you’re with your besties, we’ll do our best to keep you all in one fantastic apartment. But if you’re on your own, don’t worry! You’ll meet a great group of new friends. Our retreat is the perfect opportunity to find your new paper crafting “BFF”.
Will I have to share a bed?
Cababreak consists of 4 gorgeous apartments, where every inch is designed to make you feel relaxed! Each apartment comes with four bedrooms, with two of them being twin share. But what does that even mean? Well, it means you and your partner in crafting crime get to have your own personal space, with comfortable single beds to call your own. No uncomfortable sharing a bed with a total stranger (It is NOT a backpackers!!! 🙄) or your best friend! But if you’re feeling extra snuggly, go ahead and cozy up in one bed. Plus, every room boasts its own bathroom – no more waiting in line for the shower! And if your roomie is taking forever, don’t worry – there’s a backup powder room in the hallway. By the way, every bedroom has its own security code, which gives you the option of locking it whenever you leave the apartment.
Can I have a room to myself?
Yearning for some solo time? We get it, and we’d love to grant your wish for a private room, but we have to be honest, our options are limited. Since we need enough retreaters to cover the costs, we only have a few rooms available in each apartment. But, don’t let that discourage you! We’ll move mountains to try and make it happen, although we can’t promise it. Let’s see what we can do!
Is there off-street parking?
Good news! There are two options for you to park your car off the busy, main street. Both options come with video security to ensure your vehicle’s safety. We will give you more details closer to the event.
No PayPal?
No PayPal? Not a fan of electronic banking? No worries! Give us a ring, Chrissy on 04 033 2423 or Sharni on 04 1708 7448, and we’ll put our heads together to work out a mutually agreeable solution.
Can I transfer my retreat registration to my friend?
Oh no, you can’t make it? Don’t worry, we’re happy to consider transferring your spot to a friend. No promises, though. We’ll take it on a case-by-case basis, but we’ll need to act before we print your personalised retreat materials. Let’s chat and see if we can find a solution!
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes, things don’t go according to plan. If you need to cancel your reservation, here are the details of our cancellation policy:
- Cancel before February 11, 2024, and we’ll refund your payments, minus the $100 non-refundable deposit.
- Cancel before April 7, 2024, and we’ll send you your Soiree swag, but the $100 non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your accommodation fee of ($415), which we’ll refund.
- Unfortunately, if you cancel after April 7th, we won’t be able to offer any refunds, as we’ve already paid for the accommodation and other retreat expenses. However, you’ll still receive your limited edition Soiree Swag in the mail after the event.
