Happy Thursday!
Well let me start by saying this week hasn’t gone to plan at all. Early Sunday morning during my attempts to be a domestic goddess (well… clean up after myself) I dropped the vacuum cleaner head on my foot and chipped the bone in one toe, fractured it’s neighbour and badly bruised my foot. Thankfully a trip to the urgent care centre and X-rays revealed that there was nothing more serious so they could just strap them and give me some really good pain relief. I was instructed to keep my injury iced and strapped for three weeks.
Then on Monday, my darling husband had made a few appointments for us without checking my calendar so I had to juggle all my work around (which is why I’m writing this four days late!) Unfortunately, these appointments necessitated some walking on my injured foot which aggravated things when the pain relief injection wore off. Unfortunately, prescribed pain relief doesn’t agree with me so I wasn’t particularly well Tuesday or Wednesday. Even as I write this I’m feeling a bit green and like I have a serious case of brain fog. The newsletter I attempted to write yesterday was just gibberish. So I set it aside and will try again today.
It’s a little late but here’s the revised list of what’s on at the Creative Eclectic over the next few months. (This month’s events may change if my injury doesn’t heal as planned – but I’m hopefully it will!🤞)
