Ever considered becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator?
If you’ve followed my blog or social media for a while, you’ll have seen that I get immense joy from being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
To me, being a demonstrator is so much more than selling products, or getting a great discount on products that I love. The opportunities it gives to connect with others, and share my love of creating with beautifully coordinated papers, ink and stamps make my heart happy .
It provides me a way to give back to my community through fundraising events, donating cards and products, but more importantly creating a place for people to craft together. Being able to connect with others through a hobby is a wonderful thing. I love that people who would never have otherwise crossed paths, have met at my events and become firm friends. That’s a nice legacy to have.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve been able to adjust my Stampin’ Up! business to suit what is happening in our lives. When I’ve needed to step back for health, or family reasons (like my husband’s heart surgery), there has been the flexibility to do that. Whilst we’ve been travelling, I’ve been able to work almost anywhere in the world. The hours I work are my choice, and I’m able develop my business in the way that I want.
Being a part of Stampin’ Up!’s creative community also comes with several perks, including early access to products, special discounts, a chance to earn product credits, access to exclusive trainings, demonstrator-only events, and so much more. Stampin’ Up! has a generous compensation plan that rewards demonstrators for sales, recruiting and team building.
Are you ready to try something new with your paper crafting?
Yes? Awesome. This month Stampin’ Up! is offering Starter Kit Special. When you purchase your fully customisable Starter Kit, you will be able to redeem $286 AUD of Starter Kit eligible products for just $169 AUD! That’s $51 MORE product for EVEN MORE fun! This offer also includes free shipping and free business supplies!
What is a fully customisable starter kit?
When I started with Stampin’ Up! the starter kit was full items that Stampin’ Up! choose for you. Now the starter kit special is totally curated by you… that means you choose every single item that is included in your kit to work with what you have in your stash and YOUR interests! YOU can choose whatever current available products from the Annual Catalogue, Mini Catalogue, Online Exclusives and even the clearance rack! You can even choose items from the Online Exclusives pre-order. This means you aren’t stuck with products, you’ll never use.
If I become a demonstrator, do I have to recruit?
NO! Not if you don’t want to. Remember how I said earlier that Stampin’ Up! offers you flexibility in how you manage your business. Recruiting is one area in which they are flexible.
I’ll admit at certain times throughout my Stampin’ Up! career, I have not wanted expand my team due to things at work or in my personal life.(That said, I have never turn away anyone who has asked to join my team.) Good news is that I wasn’t forced to recruit.
One of the fabulous things about having a Stampin’ Up! team is seeing my team personally flourish. The excitement I felt when four of my new team members achieved “quick start” this year was just amazing! I was so proud of them. Then, when two of these team members also promoted to silver…well, that was pretty special too! I’m so happy for them.
I love how my team support each other (and me ) and how, despite their busy lives and personal challenges, cheer each other on. That is very special. I can’t wait to celebrate their awesomeness at “Onstage” (convention) in Brisbane next March.
Do I have to host parties? Or Classes?
Not at all! Parties, classes and events are tried and true ways to get products into the hands of customers. But, if parties or classes aren’t your thing then you can choose other ways to share your business. You might choose to do markets, or go on social media. You can tailor your Stampin’ Up! business to work how you want to within the time you have available..
Are there minimum requirements to stay a demonstrator?
Yes, there is a minimum quarterly sales requirement. However, if you take advantage of this month’s starter kit, you aren’t required to meet that requirement until the end of your first full quarter in March 2025. Six months is a long time to establish some strategies to help you meet that requirements, and set up your business. Stampin’ Up! has a whole “Stampin’ Up! University” full of training, resources and tools to help you succeed.
I’m in! How long do I have to wait till I can order?
Very little time at all! You will be sent your joining information and demonstrator id almost as soon as you join. Once you have that information you can log in and start ordering.
Joining is super easy too – just head over to my Online Stampin’ Up! Store and get started.
What if you said “Yes” to this Starter Kit special?
Well the possibilities are endless… What happens next is entirely up to you! Who knows you may be like me and join for the discount and your journey will evolve into something more? Perhaps you’ll just shop for yourself. Or maybe in six months time, you will decide it’s not for you right now. Whatever your choice, it’s okay and I will support that. At least, you have explored the possibility and won’t be wondering “what if?”
I am here to help you through the join process and beyond. If you’re interested joining my beautiful team, The FlamInks please reach out! I am excited to answer your questions and help you get started on your creative journey.
Until next time… happy creating
