Mine, Mine, Mine!
If you caught yesterday’s post, you’ll know that I may have gone on a slight tangent about my love for hot chips (which, let’s be honest, was totally justified!). But more importantly, I shared a cheeky handmade Valentine’s card featuring some adorable, snack-loving seagulls.
Well, today’s handmade Valentine’s card is the perfect companion to that one—same cute theme, same fun-loving seagull, but with a whole new twist. And if you’re a Finding Nemo fan, you’re going to love it!
A Heart-Shaped Handmade Valentine’s Card with a Seagull Attitude
Unlike yesterday’s traditional card shape, this one is heart-shaped—because what better way to send a little love than with a literal heart? And in true seagull fashion, the front of the card boldly declares “Mine, Mine, Mine!” (Seriously, if you didn’t just hear those Finding Nemo seagulls in your head, go watch that scene immediately. It’s iconic.)
This little guy is clearly staking his claim, and honestly, can you blame him? Whether it’s chips, love, or this adorable handmade Valentine’s card, sometimes you just have to make it known—it’s yours!
The Details That Make This Handmade Valentine’s Card Pop
I used all the same products from yesterday’s card, minus the gold trim, but the overall vibe is totally different!
- The base is cut into a classic heart shape for an extra sweet touch.
- I fussy cut one of the adorable Friendly Seagulls and gave him centre stage—because let’s be real, seagulls love attention.
- The six die-cut hearts (from the Hearts of Elegance Bundle) add dimension and bring in that beautiful Melon Mambo, white, and gold-foiled swirled “Marbled Elegance Specialty” paper.
- the heart shaped sequin fills some space (and covers an ink booger 🤣)
- And, of course, the sentiment “Mine, Mine, Mine!” steals the show!
