We’ve made it — the final day of our 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas series. Honestly, choosing just twelve festive colour combinations was hard. I have so many more ideas scribbled down, and judging by how eclectic this series has been, you already know I don’t believe Christmas crafting has to fit into one neat little box.

My hope with this collection has been simple: that somewhere along the way you’ve spotted a card you have to CASE, or a colour combination that speaks to you and makes you think, “Ooooh… I need to try that.”

Today’s Colour Combination

12 Colour Combinations of Christmas 2025

Day 12

This palette is such a beautiful blend of cool and warm tones. Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green give us that classic Christmas grounding, while Cloud Cover brings in a soft, cool elegance. Using Basic White keeps everything crisp and fresh, balancing the richer colours and preventing the palette from feeling too heavy. The result is festive, modern and quietly sophisticated.

The Inspiration Photo

The final day of the 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas series, featuring Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Cloud Cover swatch and inspiration photo - native wreath with red berries

How gorgeous is the Australian Christmas wreath in today’s inspiration image? The deep green native foliage works beautifully alongside the silver-blue leaves, and those rich dark red berries absolutely pop against the soft blue-grey background. It’s elegant, natural and unmistakably festive — without relying on sparkle or shine.

I’d love to have a wreath like this on my front door. I’ve even considered sweet-talking my very talented niece (and my favourite florist, https://parkerandboveyflowers.com), Suzi, into making one for me. That said… my front door faces west, and between the heat and the relentless summer sun, I suspect it wouldn’t last long out there. Still, a girl can dream.

So… What Did I Make?

With such refined inspiration, you’d be forgiven for thinking today’s project would be elegant and understated.

Nope.

Because it’s the last colour combination in the series, I decided to go out with something silly, playful and full of personality. Enter the llama and Christmas lights from the Long Time No See Stamp Set. It’s such an adorable, multi-purpose set, and I love sneaking in something unexpected at Christmas.

I’ve officially named the llama Leon, after a former workmate who always makes me smile and is just a little bit cheeky. (And no — Leon the Llama looks absolutely nothing like his namesake, who is Indonesian… but I needed an “L” name and it felt right.)

The final day of the 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas series, featuring Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Cloud Cover with a fun festive card. Long Time No See llama Stamp

This card was an absolute joy to make, with plenty of masking, heat embossing and colouring using Stampin’ Blends. Sometimes the most memorable Christmas cards are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously.

The Finishing Touch (aka the Bling)

Of course, no card is complete without a little sparkle. I finished this one with the Cloud Cover–toned 2025–2027 In Color™ Flat Pearls, placing one in each corner. They add the most delicate shimmer — subtle enough not to overpower the design, but just enough to catch the light.

Because let’s be honest… every card needs bling. Even the silly ones.

Why This Works

The strength of this card comes from contrast. Elegant colours paired with a playful image keep things fresh and unexpected. The softness of Cloud Cover balances the bold Cherry Cobbler, while Garden Green anchors everything firmly in Christmas territory.

It’s proof that festive cards don’t have to be serious to be stylish — sometimes a little humour makes them even more special.

Thank you so much for joining me on this 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas journey. I’ve loved sharing these ideas with you, and I hope they’ve sparked a little creative confidence along the way.
