Are you ready for day three of our 12 Colour Combinations of Christmas? I know I am! Today we’re stepping away from the classic reds and greens and diving into one of this year’s biggest modern Christmas trends. Not sure if you’ve spotted it yet, but pink is everywhere in the decorating world this season 🎀✨

So, I thought—why not pair one of Stampin’ Up!’s newest pinks with a rich, deep blue? Any guesses?

So what did I whip up with this playful, modern palette?

My card is one of those quick and simple makes you can batch-create in no time 🙌 The elegant plaid embossing adds texture without overwhelming the gorgeous Strawberry Slush bottle-brush style tree on a crisp die-cut. And that sweet Secret Sea bow? The perfect finishing touch. (Bottle-brush trees and bows seem to be everywhere this year 🎄🎀)

It’s also wonderfully post-friendly—minimal layers mean less weight and bulk, which is always a win when you want to take advantage of those cheaper Christmas postage rates.

And don’t forget the inside!

I partially dry-embossed the corner and added a little stamping and blending to echo the texture on the front. It ties everything together beautifully.

Creating a simple card with such a bold colour combination really makes a statement: modern, playful and confident. It’s definitely on my favourites list—does it make yours too?
