Shopping for a Crafter… With Five Days to Go? - last minute Christmas gifts for crafters from the Creative Eclectic

Hello!

I’m guessing you’re here because either the crafter in your life strongly hinted that you should buy them something they’ll really love this Christmas, or you did a little reconnaissance in their craft room and discovered they LOVE Stampin’ Up!™

Either way, here we are — five days before Christmas. You’ve well and truly missed the Stampin’ Up! and Australia Post shipping deadlines, and now you’re wondering how on earth you’re going to pull this off.

Nothing like last-minute shopping to keep things exciting — why do we do this to ourselves?

Take a breath. This is where I come in. Let me help you stay firmly on the nice list with a gift they’ll genuinely love.

Option 1: The Foolproof Favourite – An Electronic Gift Voucher

The simplest (and safest) option is an electronic gift voucher, redeemable exclusively with me.

It can be used for brand new Stampin’ Up! products, preloved crafting goodies, or classes and creative experiences.

Brownie bonus: print the email and pop it inside a handmade card. If you’re local, I can even help you out with a card if you pop in before  5pm, 23 December 2025.

Option 2: Go Big – Soirée by the Sea 2026

If your budget allows (or you’re buying as a group), this is a show-stopping gift.

Soirée by the Sea 2026 is a three-day Christmas in July paper crafting extravaganza held at gorgeous Cabarita Beach, Northern NSW. Think creativity, connection, and a little well-earned pampering.

There are only 18 places for this in person event, and they’re already selling fast, only 8 left. You can secure their spot with a $100 deposit now, with the balance due by the end of April.

If travel isn’t an option, ask me about the Soirée at Home alternative.

Option 3: January Creativity – Virtual Card Making Retreat

If July feels too far away, the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat on 23–24 January 2026 is a wonderful alternative.

The retreat kit arrives after Christmas, but you can print the details, pop them into a beautifully wrapped folder, and still deliver a thoughtful, meaningful gift on Christmas morning.

Many crafters hesitate to spend $288 on themselves during the festive season — even when it’s something they truly want. This is where you get to be the hero.

Option 4: Small but Mighty – A Personalised Bone Folder

A practical gift that gets used every single craft session.

If you’re in the Brisbane metro area, you can collect a laser-engraved personalised bone folder from me for just $14, available until 23 December.

Trust me — once a bone folder goes missing at an event because it didn’t have a name on it, this suddenly becomes a very thoughtful gift.

Option 5: All-Inclusive Crafting Kits (Instant Gratification)

If your crafter loves opening something physical on Christmas morning, one of Stampin’ Up!’s inclusive crafting kits is a brilliant choice.

Current options that I have on hand in my pop-up shop are the Christmas Wishes Kit now $30 (RRP $44), which includes everything they need to get a head start on next year’s Christmas cards, and the Wreath of Blooms Kit now $20 (RRP $25).

No missing supplies, no stress. Both kits are available for collection before 5pm, 23 December.

Option 6: A Custom Crafty Gift Box (You Set the Budget)

Not sure what tools or accessories they already own? Let me put together a gift box or bag of crafting essentials to suit your budget.

Options can include exclusive “green glue” tote bags, adhesives, Creative Eclectic–designed crafting aprons, blending brush cleaners, and other handy crafting accessories.

You choose the budget — I’ll do the clever bit.

Option 7: Month by Month Album Retreat 2025 – Scrapbooking Made Simple

Maybe your crafter has mentioned they’d love to try scrapbooking, but doesn’t know where to start. The Month by Month Album Retreat 2025 is their all-access pass.

This $435 virtual retreat experience includes creative inspiration, expert step-by-step guidance, and the chance to create a beautiful 12-spread (24-page) album that tells a unique story.

While the live retreat took place earlier this year, all video content is available, allowing them to work at their own pace. The physical kit won’t arrive before Christmas, but you can gift the PDFs and links so they can get started straight away. It’s truly the gift that gives more than once.

Option 8: Handmade Card Gift Pack (For the Non-Crafter)

Maybe your gift is for someone who loves sending handmade cards, but isn’t a card maker themselves.

I can put together an assortment of 20 handmade cards and envelopes for use throughout the year — birthdays, thank yous, thinking of you, and everything in between.

Christmas Special: $25
They make a gorgeous stocking stuffer and a very thoughtful gift.

Still Not Sure? Here’s My Recommendation

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and just want to make a good choice:

If you’re short on time, go with an electronic gift voucher or a crafting kit.
If you want something tangible under the tree, choose a kit, personalised bone folder, or custom gift box.
If you’re looking for a big “wow” gift, one of the retreat options is hard to beat.
If you have no idea what they already own, a voucher or experience is your safest bet.

If you’re still unsure, send me a message. I’m very good at helping loved ones of crafters look like absolute legends at Christmas.

Until next time… happy creating. 🎄✨
