Are you ready for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and a sprinkle of kindness?
If you’re someone who can wield a pair of scissors, dab a bit of glue, and bring along a generous spirit, then this is the event for you!
Join me and my friend, Jan as we gather in Brisbane South (Parkinson) to support Homemade Cards for Seniors Australia. Our mission is to collect and create beautiful homemade greeting cards that will be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients, brightening the day for many senior Australians who live in isolation.

The theme for our card collection is Easter, and we need your help to create a wave of joy with these heartfelt messages. Whether you’re a seasoned card maker or just looking to try something new, we welcome all skill levels. Plus, it’s not just the seniors who will benefit—crafting together brings joy to everyone involved!
Event Details
I’ll hosting two delightful crafting sessions over the weekend, and you’re invited to join us for one or both:
Saturday, February 8th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Sunday, February 9th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Cost: Just $10 per event to cover the materials for card making, along with tea and coffee to fuel your creativity. If you could bring a snack to share, it would be greatly appreciated and add to the fun!
RSVP by January 31st to secure your spot in this heartwarming event. Don’t miss out on this chance to spread happiness and make a difference.
Remember, you’ll get to take home two of your creations as a memento of this wonderful experience, while the rest of the cards will be shared with seniors through Meals on Wheels. We are aiming to create 150 cards.
