Last Chance Sale is coming

This morning I was so excited to see  Stampin’ Up! released their 2023-2024 annual catalogue and January to April 2024 mini catalogue retiring lists.  The release of retiring lists are always a roller coaster of emotions for me as we say goodbye to lots of gorgeous products.

Firstly, there’s sadness that some stamp sets that have been in my stash for years are retiring (I lose 32 stamps sets and most of my dies and ribbons this time).  It’s hard to say goodbye to some sets. Then there is a sense of relief that I didn’t purchase some retiring sets that are on my wish list.  Next, I feel join when I discover some favourites are carrying over.  Lastly, there is excitement of what is coming soon.

These retiring lists hold a few surprises that I would never have imagined, or predicted… Never in a million years did I think very vanilla thick card stock or very vanilla envelopes would retire! But they are going!  That hasn’t fully sunk in yet.

Last Chance Sale – say goodbye at a discount.

Along with the retired list, comes the last chance sale.  This means some retiring items are up to 60% off.  The sale runs from 9th–30th April 2024

Even though the sale doesn’t start for a couple of weeks, it is likely (if past years are any indication) some items, ike in-colour ink refills, will sell out long before the Last Chance Sale even begins just because the retiring lists available now.  So if there is something in either catalogue that you have your heart set on, you’ll need to decide if you are willing to risk the wait to get what you want at a discount, or buy it now.

Here’s a link to my online Stampin’ Up! store if you wish to get online as soon as the sale starts.   You don’t want to miss out!

Product Price rise is coming

Sadly, due to increased costs to produce these items, you will see some price increases when the new annual catalogue is released on 1st May 2024 – items that are affected are:

  • Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills
  • Stampin’ Blends
  • Select Specialty Inks
  • Embossing Pastes
  • Stampin’ Spots
  • Cardstock
  • Select Notecards and Envelopes
  • Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machines and Plates
  • Punches
  • Select Storage
  • Select Tools
  • Select Adhesives

It’s been my experience that Stampin’ Up! strives to provide you with the best paper crafting products and experiences, without sacrificing their quality. They regularly review pricing, taking into account the cost of doing business, global exchange rates, increased supplier costs, and market comparisons. When it comes to making changes, traditionally Stampin’ Up! are conservative, and put off price increases for as long as they can because they know increases impact us all significantly.

I’m telling you this now so that if you need any of those products listed above, you can get your order in before the prices increase on 1st May

I had a sneaky peak of the new annual catalogue last night and compared the new prices.  Full disclosure, the price increases in most cases are more than I was anticipating.

For example, an assorted pack of coloured A4 card stock is increasing from $17.50 to $20.50AUD.  Ink refills are increasing to $9.75AUD and Blends combos are increasing to $19.25AUD (from $17.50).

Sadly, I haven’t had a chance to compare everything yet.  But  it is important to share what I do know so you can make allowances in your crafty budget, or buy items before the price rises come into effect on 1st May 2024.

Remember to let me know if you need a hard copy of the annual catalogue posted to you.

See you at 7:00PM AEST for tonight’s facebook live. I’m feeling very “hoppy” to share tonight’s project with you. 🐰🐇 Contact me if you have any questions about the retiring list or the new catalogue.

Until next time… happy creating!
