“I had no clue that one tiny rubber stamp purchase would lead to this.” 💕
That little stamped quote proudly sits in a frame on the shelf in my new craft room, and every time I read it, it makes me smile. When I look back, I realise just how true those words have become.
Last Thursday I quietly celebrated my 18th Stamp-a-versary. 18 years since I joined Stampin’ Up! No fanfare, confetti, bells, whistles or promotions… and definitely no glitter! Just moments of quiet reflection and crafting with a dear friend.
What actually happened when I joined Stampin’ Up! ?
When I joined Stampin’ Up! all those years ago, I wasn’t looking to start a business. I simply wanted to save a little money on the products I already loved.
I certainly never imagined the friendships I’d make, the wonderful creative community I’d become part of, or the opportunities that would come my way.
Never, in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that one little stamp set would lead me to teaching classes, hosting crafting retreats and sharing my passion for creativity with so many wonderful people.
I certainly didn’t imagine ticking a major item off my bucket list by staying at a premium Disney Resort on my very first Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip—a trip I earned through Stampin’ Up!. And if you’d told me that one day I’d stand on stage as the Top 7 demonstrators in Australia, I would have laughed. Self-doubt has always been one of my biggest challenges, so that achievement still feels a little surreal.
Those experiences are my story, not the typical Stampin’ Up! journey. Very few demonstrators (less than 1%) will ever earn an Incentive Trip or reach the Top 10 in Australia, and that’s perfectly okay.
What Stampin’ Up! has shown me is that we often underestimate what we’re capable of, and that saying “yes” to a little opportunity can sometimes lead to places we never expected.
Most importantly, though, the greatest gift Stampin’ Up! has given me isn’t a trip or an award—it’s the privilege of connecting people through creativity so they don’t ever feel alone. For me, that’s what this journey has always been about.

I actually think this is a brilliant change.
Rather than trying to fit everything into a Starter Kit, you can take your time and choose the products that are perfect for you. If your wish list is bigger than $240 (and whose isn’t? 😊), you can simply pay the difference and still receive your demonstrator discount on the additional products.

Everyone who joins Stampin’ Up! for the very first time from today will also receive a special Welcome Box.

Some enjoy being among the first to see new releases.
Some love attending demonstrator-only events and being part of a creative community.
Some choose to share their love of paper crafting with others.
And some discover opportunities they never imagined when they first joined.
There really isn’t a “right” way—your Stampin’ Up! journey is exactly that… your journey.
